Seniors On-line presented at the International conference ‘Open Professional Collaboration for Open Classroom’


On 9–10 November 2017 Vytautas Magnus University in cooperation with EDEN, UNESCO IITE and Ministry of Education and Science organised an International conference ‘Open Professional Collaboration for Open Classroom’ in Kaunas, Lithuania (

SIH director Daiva Malinauskienė made a presentation on 'English and ICT Skills for Life - A Good Experience of the NordPlus project “Seniors On-line” ', and as one of the moderators of the Adult education section she presented the section’s work in plenary session. Moreover, D. Malinauskienė was awarded with the Certificate of Appreciation for her valuable support in fostering the development of Open and Distance Learning Innovations in Lithuania.

On 24-25  October 2017 Erasmus+  „Parents for all“ project, which will be implemented by different educational institutions from Greese, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Germany and Lithuania, partners met in Athens, Greece. 



The traditional membership event of the Lithuanian Association of Adult Education was held in Rumsiskes (LT) on 9-10 September 2017.


New cooperation among Seniors On-line project partners.


The final international conference ‘Challenges for Seniors – Foreign Language and ICT Skills for Active Life’ with the cross-cultural ‘Get-together’ event to present the project, its products and results to the beneficiaries was organized in Vilnius, Lithuania on 28-29 June 2017.


The project Seniors Online provided English language and ICT-training for senior citizens from the city of Raisio, Finland, during last Autumn and in the beginning of this year. Anmiro Oy - the Finnish partner in the project - arranged a final exploitation and dissemination seminar for seniors in Raisio Library on 31st  May 2017.
